Highlight
Royal Pavilion is the most highlight exhibition of BOI Fair 2011. Established close to the landmark, the pavilion exhibits the excellence of H.M. the King and his tireless efforts on his endless works, his royal activities as well as a variety of royal initiatives from the Royal Family.
Simulated Royal Barge Suphannahong as the model, Royal Pavilion is divided into 3 zones:
- Zone A: Encompassing 1,500 square-meter spaces, the indoor exhibition zone exhibits the excellence of H.M. the King and a variety of his royal activities and initiatives through 7 telling stories under the theme “The relationship of Soil, Water, Forests, and Human.”
Visitors will experience the magnificence of story telling with modern multimedia technologies such as Multiple Screen, Mapping Projection, and Multi Touch Interactive Wall. More specially, they will be brought to the world of sand to admire the excellence of the King of Thailand and his tireless efforts on arduous works to improve the quality of life to Thai people through “sand animation” show, accompanied by the royally-composed song “Falling Rain”, by the world’s famous sand artist Kseniya Simonova.
- Zone B: The Exhibition of Learning is located on 700 square-meter outdoor spaces. Decorated by the sculpture of water, rice and leaf, the zone presents 9 wonderful stories of “One Drop, One Grain, and One Tree.” Visitors can learn the importance of every seed of rice through rice exhibition while enjoy a variety of activities about weight and measure as well as learn water theory in the zone.
- Zone C: The 800-square-metre space is allocated to be Farmers Market, a supermarket-type area to sell products from 8 royal projects ranking from agricultural products, food and beverage, stationery, cosmetics, ceramics, handicrafts, clothes, and decoration items. Visitors can enjoy shopping in this zone.
