Activities
For almost three decades, Banpu Public Company Limited has been adhering to its
business credo that “an industry will be strong only when it is developed in tandem
with social and environmental responsibility”. The Company, therefore, has
focused on ensuring a wise balance between sustainable business growth and
community and environmental development, through its CSR in- and after-process
activities.
For CSR programs both at local and corporate level, Banpu has determined its CSR strategic direction along with
its long-term business plan (2011-2015) by focusing on the promotion of continual "education and learning” for
children and young people in various areas. Learning activities that Banpu has supported range from learning
through real life experiences and daily lives, to capability and skill enhancement through hands-on practices,
self-learning (team or individual) and providing what is needed.
Banpu has implemented its CSR activities by emphasizing on the “Do by Heart” approach. This means working
on the basis of “sincerity”, “serious concern”, and genuine “good will”, with an ultimate goal to create maximum
benefits for the community and the society in a sustainable way.
